Month wise Working days in Academic year 2022-23
Each academic year is divided into two semesters and programmes are evaluated in the credit system. Teaching includes lectures, tutorials, practicals, seminars, debates, dissertations. The Institute lays special emphasis on the tutorial system, which is based on a close personal interaction between students and teachers. The students have to undergo Legal Aid campaigns for the upliftment of society and students are taken to various Courts for observation of court proceedings and also they are taken to various jails for visits to understand criminal behaviour and criminal justice system in the fourth and fifth year of their studies. A distinct feature of the education system at TTWRLCs is practical teaching and the emphasis on overall personality development and therefore in the process, extra curricular activities become an integral part of students' life by instilling the leadership qualities in the students. These Institutes, as Gurukulams have provided the largest number of graduates in the task of nation building.
Academic committees and faculty committee of Law Department review the performance of every student throughout the year. And at the end of each semester every student gives a feedback on the course content, its relevance and performance of the teacher. Feed back from students has helped in continually improving teaching quality.

Classroom instructions for second year and third year begins from the end of first year, and for first year freshers begins after the counselling of LAWCET and joining in the college. The academic plan for the undergraduate courses depends upon their concerned universities almanacs. The well-designed Academic calendar not only plans & Schedules a wide range of curricular, co-curricular & extra-curricular activities for the students but also helps to equip them with the required skill-set and prepares them to enhance their potential in various academic & non-academic activities.
Digital Classes
To keep up the students abreast with the latest educational practices, a student- friendly environment, Gurukulam has introduced digital classes as part of virtual learning.
Flipped Classes
Flipped classroom is the part of Blended learning practice in the institutions where students learn new content outside the class and practice them in the classrooms.The aim of this classroom is to inculcate critical thinking and self-learning among the students. As it makes the shift away from traditional instruction, the students are exposed to experiential learning which is the new norm in the world of information.
Field Trips
Field trip has been introduced by Gurukulam to reinforce experimental and contextual learning. These are the way of enhancing classroom learning by making real world connection. Field trips expose the students to different life styles, places, people and culture. They provide great way to bring excitement and adventure to learning.
Seminars
Seminars constitute a major avenue of exchange of ideas as well as gaining a better insight into the subject. It has numerous benefits including improving communication skills, gaining expert knowledge, networking with others and renewing motivation and confidence.
Library

- Library is a powerhouse store to gain knowledge and information about everything under the sky.Library is an integral part of the Institution and involves in the evolution of every human being associated with it.
- Students use libraries to enhance their classroom experiences. Libraries help the students to develop good reading and study habits.
- An exclusive user-friendly and comfort oriented infrastructure, modern furniture and reprographic conveniences. There are separate enclaves for individual and group study. Students and staff can avail the library from 7.30 AM to 10.00 PM everyday and refer to a wide variety of resources.
- Library of the college stocks more varieties of books that includes text books, reference books, Journals etc. Along with those books our libraries also contain number of books for competitive exams like UPSC, IES ,GROUPS etc.
- Every library subscribes more than 10 different types of monthly magzines like YOJANA, KURUKSHETRA, WINSPIRE, PRATHIYOGITHA DHARPAN, etc.
- In addition to the academic collections, there are no. of fiction and non-fiction books encouraging students' outside reading interests.
- The Libraries not just holds stack of books but also holds various events to improve the book reading habit amongst young students in the digital era such as Book exhibitions, Manuscript and Readathon.
Student Elections
The college has conducted student elections so as to provide real time experience of competitive politics. The purpose of such an activity is to made students make aware of various problems faced by them and also to accomplish some of the goals that they set out to achieve and contribute their services to the Law college.
Computer Education
Computer with the internet facility is the most powerful tool that students can use to learn new skills and more advanced version of current lessons. It helps the student to draw the creativity and explore imagination and to develop their skills. Apart from regular schedule students can access this facility to make utmost use of it.
volunteer Work
The students are encouraged to disseminate their acquired legal knowledge in their communities and make the society aware of their rights and duties. This experience will not only make them responsible citizens but also a good lawyer helping the needy and enlightening the society.
Debate Teams
Debate can be excellent training ground for future lawyers. It will help them to develop strong communication skills from decisive arguments and learn how to prove and present them extemporaneously. Debate teaches you and allows you to practice it. In fact, several Supreme Court justices are former debaters. This Law college will recognize students’ ability to distill nuanced arguments from a complex set of facts to present them cogently in front of audience. This helps them to be successful in their career.
Quartet Group
- To bridge the gap between future learners and advanced learners each class is divided into no. of quartet groups consisting of an advanced learner, an average learner, an above average and a future learner. This is an effective tool to support focused reflection, helps the teachers to give individual attention and strengthens collaborative learning.
Project Work
- Project based learning is a teaching where students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging a complex question, problem or challenge. It allows students to demonstrate her/his capabilities while working independently and to apply desired skills such as doing research. It helps students to work with her/his peers, building team work and group skills. At Gurukulam level every year, competition on project works based on problem solving is conducted and the best project is awarded.
